A Holiday Gift Guide

One of the biggest stresses of the Christmas season is gift giving.  Maybe you find it difficult to find the right gift for the people in your life, or the stores are way too crowded, or your wallet isn’t quite keeping up with what’s in your heart to give.  But gift-giving should be joyful!

To help you out, the gals and I have a list of a few gifts to encourage and equip those you love with Scripture and the love of God.  Let us know your favorite item in the guide below!

Grace Before Meals: In Grace Before Meals: Recipes and Inspiration for Family Meals and Family Life, Father Leo Patalinghug (yes, the same Father Leo who defeated Bobby Flay on Throwdown!) helps you make family meals a way of life. Combining more than 30 simple but delicious recipes related to personal milestones, family holidays, and faith observances, along with scriptural references and short essays offering wisdom on faith, values, and family togetherness, Father Leo shows that mealtime is the perfect setting for discussing the major issues all families face. In fact, research shows that frequent family dinners can reduce many risks facing children, including drug and alcohol abuse, teen pregnancy, depression, eating disorders, and poor academic performance. These are meals that nourish body and spirit.

Tiny Saints: My absolute favorite this year.  Pretty much the coolest saint charms ever, the collection from Tiny Saints includes charms, rosaries, bracelets, and more!

Daily Floral Planner: This planner from Daily Grace Co. contains 175 daily planning pages, with a spot to write the date, what you’re thankful for, your to-do list, schedule, prayer request, dinner, and a Daily Grace section that can be used for a verse of the day, quote, or something God is teaching you.  Perfect for the person in your life who likes to write it all out.

I Choose the Sky: This Scripture devotional by Emily Wilson is about seventeen women who chose to raise their eyes heavenward toward God by living lives of hope, boldness, generosity, and great faith.  These women of the Bible will challenge you – and the women on your gift list! – to understand your faith in a new and beautiful way.

Write with the World Ornament: Write on the world with this chalkboard globe ornament! Great for personalizing your tree with your family’s favorite scripture or line from your favorite hymn, or giving as a gift.
