Today, we turn our focus to the first half of the beatitude found in Matthew 5:4, “Blessed are those who mourn…”

Join Angela McCann and Letitia Peyton (of everydaymissionaries.com) as we turn our focus to the first half of the beatitude found in Matthew 5:4. “Blessed are those who mourn.”

This beatitude applies to mourners in addition to those who sorrow over death. It is also a promise to those who are genuinely sorry for their offenses to God.

Do I pray for those who are suffering? Do I comfort those obviously in pain? Do I accept suffering willingly?
