Podcasts to Start Your Everydays

A friend of mine recently asked for suggestions for Catholic speakers, and since it’s something I’m just getting into, I thought I would share some Catholic podcasts that we can all listen to.

Podcasts can be really fun to listen to, but I’m learning more and more how important it is to surround ourselves with reminders of prayer throughout the day.

The Catholic Guy Show
Lino Rulli is described by his friends as “The Catholic Guy” because that is exactly what he is: an everyday Catholic guy with a fresh, funny, and off-beat take on living out faith today.  It’s a look at life unlike any you’ve heard before. Listen in.

Word on Fire Homilies with Bishop Robert Barron
Word on Fire Catholic Ministries is a nonprofit global media apostolate that supports the work of Father Robert Barron and reaches millions of people to draw them into – or back to – the Catholic faith. Listen in here.

Fountains of Carrots with Christy Isinger and Haley Stewart
Christy and Haley talk about anything and everything relevant to being a Catholic woman in today’s world. Listen in.

Caritas Podcast with Brigid Hogan and Elise Crawford
This up and coming podcast is all about living a spiritual life in a secular world.  Join in the conversation about encountering truth, beauty, and goodness in the messiness of life. Listen in.

The Jennifer Fulwiler Show
Jennifer, of conversiondiary.com, takes on pop culture and current events as a former atheist, self-professed nerd, and mother of six. Listen in.

Sunday, Sunday, Sunday with Mark Hart
Join Mark Hart for a short and sweet reflection on the Sunday Mass readings.
Listen in.

Catholic Underground with Fr. Chris Decker, Fr. Ryan Humphries, Jeff Blackwell, and Kathleen Lee
The Catholic Underground exists to explore the intersection of the Catholic faith and the work of modern technology.  Their work aims to bring the eternal truths of the Catholic faith to the digital continent, the Church’s newest mission field in a manner that is both approachable and unwavering. Listen in.

Taylor Marshall Catholic Show
Join Dr. Taylor Marshall each week for tips and lessons on how to have a life full of meaning, hope, and encouragement through the message of Christ.  Dr. Marshall, a convert to the faith, draws from the Bible, Church Fathers, and even medieval philosophy. Listen in.

Enjoy!
